hundreds of onlookers appreciating the dance, the singing and the fire.

Sompting Village Morris is an English Morris Dance side based on the South Coast of England in Worthing, West Sussex, and boasts seperate traditional sides for both men and ladies, a mixed team called Sompting Larks, a dedicated team of young, keen performers known as the Morris Minors, and a band of vibrant folk musicians. We enjoy perfoming both locally and further afield, and can often be found dancing in and around Worthing at both pubs and local events, as well as at days of dance and folk festivals.

COVID 19 UPDATE:
Sompting Village Morris has taken the decision to cancel weekly practices and other dance events until further notice.
Our summer programme will be affected by this, so please check our Website or Facebook page for the latest updates. We hope to resume our normal programme as soon as is practically possible.

CANCELLATION OF SOMPTING VILLAGE MORRIS SOLSTICE CELEBRATIONS - SAT 20 JUNE 2020
Due to Government restrictions on the number of people who may legally meet together, Sompting Village Morris has sadly been obliged to
cancel the Solstice celebrations on Sat 20 June 2020 at Highdown Hill, Worthing.
We hope to see you at next year's Solstice event, on 21 June 2021
